The recently released French report says the debris origin is likely to be near Equator or Indonesia.

Nashama - well, that more or less corresponds to the Southern Arc theory, doesn't it? There is very little, if anything, that I can add to what countless others have already said on this and other fora except to say that it is odd that the plane must have turned again - south - at some point after its last contact with Malaysian primary radar if it did end up on the Southern Arc.
