Correct move?

This Airbus from EasyJet is forced to clear the runway before the arrival of another aircraft, but instead of taking off goes again in line for takeoff.
Perhaps it would have been simpler than directly make take off or not?

You are making the wrong assumptions. Were you listening to the radio transmissions? What most probably happened is that the EZY was cleared to line up and probably take-off too. Once on the runway the FD crew had a good reason (could be one of many) not to commence their take-off and reported this to ATC. With an aircraft inbound ATC instructed EZY to vacate the runway. Whatever caused the EZY crew not to continue with their take-off was rectified and they joined the line again.
