New Thomson Livery
Hello. I have created a New Thomson Livery thread so people in The normal Thomson thread don't have to complain about livery posts.
Here is the new livery:
It is due to be painted on one of the 767's this week, which one I dont know.

Rather disappointed TOM have decided to introduce the new livery onto a 767 instead of with the delivery of the first 787! All of the recent 737's that have been delivered in the now old livery aswell

I believe its G-OBYG
I dont think but i could be wrong that any of the ex FCA 767's are being repainted.
G-OOAN has indeed been out of service from 1st April for cabin refitting

I thought only two ex FCA's were going. G-DBLA & G-PJLO.
I wonder if all the TUI companies will get the new livery or if its just Thomson. If its all of them wonder what it looks like in Yellow.

I know around November last year the two LA/LO were going but has this not been extended due to the 787 delays, the LA has only just been refurbished interior wise. As far as i can see there are no plans to reduce flights in June and August.

Is Indeed G-OBYG. Wonder when the next one will be? Looking great I'll tell you that

i can't say it's significantly different than what they have or what is out there already. horrid typeface, horrid logo, same wavy lines along the fuselage as BMI, it's all a bit 'meh' imo.

The livery on the 767 is different than the one depicted on the 787. Check the tail colour.
Cut off the tail on the 767 and the livery is good in my opinion, however the TUI blue tail is too light to be placed there and clashes with the dark blue below. I dont get why they sandwich dark blue between the two light blue sections, it ruins the overall look.
It could easily be improved by extending the dark blue into the tail to provide a better flow in the colour changes from dark to light. That would obviously be against the brand mark though.
The TUI Belguim livery on OO-TUC Jetair - TUI Airlines Belgium Boeing 767-341(ER) - Planespotters.net Just Aviation is a million times better than the bland one tone blue flying around today and would be great on the 787.

After all, that fin colour is Thomson/TUI's trademark colour on all their travel agencies

I was informed a couple of years ago by a good source that none of the ex-FCA 767's are going to be repainted as they are all due to (eventually) be replaced by the 787 - they are also older than the TOM airframes.
G-DBLA & G-PJLO are leased from a different company and were due to be "retired" some time ago, but the leases have been extended due to the delays delivering the Dreamliner. This is also why they are the only two that have not been fitted with winglets.
