Vietjet New thread

I see that they are still recruiting Capts & FO's
Any update on terms and conditions, Rosters etc, as all recent info is well outdated here at the moment, so fresh imput gratefully appreciated.
I'm Rated 320/321 with hours on type and looking for a change of scenery.
Many thanks.

Pay is ok if you fly a lot, but thats the key word, you need to fly a lot to make the money. A/C new, Hanoi base only for new joiners, roster is a big negative, constant changes and switching from earlys to lates each day is common. Lots of 4 sector days and long duty times, Zero benefits. Guys are constantly leaving.

OK thanks, still looking at JSP as well, trying to look at options.
JSP, Viet Jet and VN.

BAe 146-100 19th Dec 2016 05:15

All of them is Hanoi base only, forget about Saigon.

Captains pay for their upgrades here, is there anything more that needs to be said ?

BAe 146-100 21st Dec 2016 03:16

And a lot of $$$, plus its a line training airline for low hour rich koreans. The question is can you join here as a experienced fo now, probably not.

Jsp have really upped the total time to apply, and with 3000/4000 tt there are many better places in the world to go then vietnam if you have those kind of hours already.

Unfortunately Age is not on my side and I bust the age limit quite a bit these days. :(

VietJet Cadet Programme

Hi all,

Seems this thread petered out a few months ago. Just wondering if anyone has any details on the cadet programme terms, offer, remuneration, bases, contract, bond, etc? Any information would be useful. Not hearing the best morsels filtering through. Has anyone been through the process?

Much appreciated! Cheers.

They haven't hired an experienced fo in a while, you can always try but who knows if you get a reply or not.

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and this is my first post:)
Has any heard of the vietjet program cadet line training?
The requirements are an ATPL frozen and a type rating on a320
I'm thinking about getting a type rating for this program but don't know if they take
People for no hours on a320 and plus a international applicant.
I'll be very thankful if anyone has information about this program, thank you.

Can you please do some reading before posting ? This is a corrupt low standard place which has scammed many people on the past, please be very careful

Hi pfvspnf,

I did some reading about the post on an agency that scammed people and it is a p2f airline for other rich people, but I just want to know if I applied by myself through their own website for this program would it still be the same situation? Still, thanks for reminding.

Just checking what's the best way to apply for DEC? Heard the direct recruitment is not really responsive or actually maybe not even involved in the process anymore because of the notorious agency involved!!

BAe 146-100 3rd Apr 2017 19:07

Correct, quite a bit of luck or connections needed to get hired directly or your left with the agency you speak of.

manfred42517 23rd Apr 2017 16:39

All the compleints in this forum are 100 % accurate ! chien the former flight attendent did sim on singapore to a friend of mine , dual adr fault with engine fail ! vietnamese line trainings instructors are **** ! pay when you get it is good , during training ask for help to your friends , relatives if you go there without savings ...****nameses way of instruction is shout to the trainee , make feel him or her less than nothing , aircrafts ... cattle trailers , bins with masking tape , no stickers on mel items , a know a story of a plane who flew without toilet door !!!!taxi speeds on excess on 30 kts ...lots of scum from vietnam airlines there !

pfvspnf 24th Apr 2017 10:10

I'm not surprised as all , since most of the captains have paid to be in the seat and I hear of a lot of incompetence too
