Malindo Air

With Malaysian aviation the way it is...

Does anyone know anything about Malindo? The usual questions:

What's the word? Are they recruiting? Expats? Remuneration? Management?

I've heard a lot of horror stories about Lion, to which it belongs. But they're expanding fast.

Malindo is good airline to work for, I like the fact that they are trying to be different than Air Asia...but I don't think they will be hiring expats anytime soon...

You can't compare Malindo to Lion, apples and oranges. Malindo are very well run and have a good, gradual expansion plan.

They were looking at hiring expats early last year but then they picked up dozens of ex MAS pilots after they shed a large number of pilots.

Perhaps they will need expats in late 2017 or more likely 2018 if they keep expanding as planned?
