Vietnam Airlines A350 - is it flying yet?
Mods - please move to another forum if you see fit.
Is the A350 flying yet? I thought I took one SGN - HAN on 11 June, VN272 (that's what the crew told me) but Vietnam Airlines and Skytrax say it will only start flying the route on 3 July.
Definitely a different (and better) interior to the usual A330.
Is there any way I can check? I am not a journalist, just a frequent traveller.
Thanks for any input, there is always a beer available to anyone who can provide an informed answer and make it to Saigon!

Back in SGN on Tuesday. I'll PM about the beer!

No. It's not here yet, it is scheduled to arrive on the 1st of July.
You probably flew our newest A330, VN-A383, it's ex Kingfisher and it has a different cabin to the others, got a lot of fancy chrome trim and touchscreens and lie flat seats in business etc.

Thanks - I did a little bit of research and also came up with the Kingfisher option. As we boarded and exited by bridge I didn't get an opportunity to really see the 'plane.
The input is much appreciated, looking forward to both new 'planes in the near future. And the beer in Saigon is still an option!
