Sorry mate, I applied the cadet with a PPL, im not entirely sure about the selection process for the pre-qualified guys.

Good luck with your application, and hopefully we can work in the same cockpit one day ^^

What I don’t understand is why they made such arrangement without putting it on their website. If you check it out again you will find out FTA is still on the line. Nothing mentioned about CTC NZ at all. Is it because FTA is fully packed so they tided to CTC NZ temporarily? or does it mean that no new cadets will be trained with FTA from now on? Any ideas?

Hi Superwills,

sometimes it takes up to 3-4 weeks for them to give you a reply. Perhaps you can wait for another week, then ask them through e-mail if they still haven't contact you then.

Oh no I haven' done the CTC assessment yet. My last round was the aptitude test on 27th August and I still haven't received any call from KA yet. I am wondering if my chance had gone...

By the way, would you mind to share when had you done your aptitude test yet?

Good luck anyway!!

Hi Superwills

Thanks for your reply. Sorry I misunderstand your previous posts.

I did my aptitude test back in JUL 27th (in Melbourne). And I was told If I don't have any reply/contact from KA within a month, than it means I failed.

Then 3 weeks later, Ive got the invitation for the next stage from KA.

Since you've done your test late AUG... perhaps they might contact you next week. ^^

What I did during that 3 weeks of waiting is that I just pretend I passed and continue prepare for the next stage. So don't give up, and good luck to your soon to come interview ^^

To Shae

It depends on their class schedule. But it should be lot quicker than CX.
Have you received any news for your initial test yet?

Hi all, seems like it's been very quiet for KA's thread, apart from DA16's offer given out last week, but the rest should be waiting for DA17/MPL3 i guess.
is there any one got KA's initial test or apt test inviation recently?
how's the recruitment of DA17 going on so far?
Thanks.

I’m in the DA17 application stream. Did the initial test on the 14th Sept, and the apt test on the 3rd Oct. The HR girl said they’d get back to me within 6 weeks if I’m successful, but they said 8 weeks after the initial test and called me within days.
