I honestly think with your experience you just need to be patient a bit and not throw 30k at this.. You have a lot more chances than cadets...

Exactly, this! They were actually forced on to Buzz contracts and made redundant. With all due respect but vacancies with just a 737 TR with no hours was already basically (not fully) useless before...

The pilot surplus is def true. With Boeing's news regarding the MAX today I think it certainly does not do any good. Time to look for something else than Ryanair is the hard truth
