How do the above suggestions help QF employees who've been in the company, say, less than 10 years? I'm not sure they'd take too kindly to being told when to take 4 of their 5 weeks of annual leave...

KK: I imagine they'll be offered the same as all the Melbourne apprentices will be offered: Component Maintenance MEL or BNE heavy maintenance. Those were the options given to me when I graduated.
