Yes but it's not the degree that's the useful part it's the fact that you get 9k a year, so that's 27k with type rating, plus a maintanence loan of upto 5k a year which will change a lot for hopeful...

Well, it is because you don't have to attend a university campus or pay any more money to obtain the degree. All you have to do is be accepted on to an integrated course at the certain flight schools...

The airlines are running per selected schemes but the easyjet cadet scheme only come around every year or so and they only take around 15-20 cadets each time however, they need to recruit 200+ a year...

Yeah I will of course try and get on a pre selected course but if I don't then I still think that integrated is slightly better with it airline preparation days and its extra hours in the simulators....

gpiper, yes you do get placed in a hold pool but when you graduate from ctc wings there are other ways to get jobs...it's called going to apply to airlines like every other bloody modular student...
