I wasn't suggesting that they would only take CTC/CAE guys and girls, just that they might (all speculation on my part) rush their applications through compared to the others.

Stansted Training Centre is owned by Ryanair and is used by them mostly for crew recurrency as well as assessments. Therefore no, it's not possible.

I think common reasons to fail the telephone...

I think common reasons to fail the telephone interview are for theory fails, LST fails, having already failed the assessment before and perhaps if you are deemed to have insufficient language skills....

I don't think the supposed age limit was ever written. It's not my area of knowledge but I don't believe setting age limits like that is legal? (could be corrected.)
