Yes, it can be any EASA qualified TRE for the LPC. However, if you want to 'unfreeze' your ATPL you have to do the LPC with a TRE from you licence issuing country.

If you have over 500 hours on type you can just do a UK LPC with a British TRE, that will revalidate both your type and your licence. I did this last year, having not flown in the UK for 4 years.
