Devil Ejector chute for batteries

Something similar to the design I saw on a DC-3 where the batteries sit on a tray that slides up into the fuselage.

If things get a bit hot, the retaining latches can be made of low melting point...

LiFePO4 batteries seem to have been developed too late to get into the 787 design, but something tells me retrofit may be getting serious consideration;)
