Why on earth would Aer Lingus even consider Waterford if the runway was extended... given that when they did Birmingham/Knock on a W pattern it was soon scrapped, and Shannon services to anywhere...

I read in the most recent Irish Air Letter that there are to be 7 new routes in 2007 from Waterford. It stated that negotiation were at an advanced stage and they would be confirmed soon.
