I don't believe anyone has died in a 787 yet.

Which is dissimilar to the introduction of the 727. Something must have changed for the better.

That's a foolish assumption. Boeing knows how to play their cards next to their chest...

Here's what I don't understand. I have read that the 787 batteries had been failing non-catastrophically at some enormous rate prior to the catastrophic failures. I have not seen a single word...
