I asked the tower if they had a reported outage and they said no, I have had 2 tries at it on different evenings, I went to another airport with an ILS ( a military one) and the only difference was...

I did not think so either , but can't figure out why in the hell neither totally independent GS receivers will pick up a signal

Another question, is the associated GS frequency spacing different in the uk than the US, the reason I ask is I have bought a Vor/loc/ils for the aircraft and also just got a Yaesu FTA750L handheld...

I assume most Nav receivers are like mine and have 2 inputs,one for the vor antenna and one for the glide slope , which receiver picks up the Localiser signal the vor or GS receiver ?
