Second hand Robinsons

I am looking for a low hours low years 44. There used to be an excellent chap in Aberdeen (Bryan?)who traded a lot in Robinsons. However he appears to have packed up. Anyone know who took over that business or can anyone recommend a good source? I know there are all the usuals Sloane/ Heli air etc but this guy was good!

Brian Lyle - Select Helicopters it was. Not sure if he is still trading, but I guess a Google might bring up something.

Brian threw the towel in circa 2009 when the recession hit. very clever,
the business was not taken over.

chom. buy a jetranger and you will still have something to sell in a few years
time, plus a REAL helicopter to enjoy meantime.

Try FlyQ, they trade in mainly Robinsons. Found them very helpful in the past.

My advice would be to buy from someone who understands the product and isn't simply a dealer.

Look for someone who can offer some after sale services (maintenance etc).

It can be a mine field, find an engineer who will do a survey for you, it is an added expense, but will always pay for itself in the long run. Preferably the same engineer who will have to put his signature to it later!

Good luck.
