Namaste VF,

Sir - You are a true, honourable gentleman and a kind human being whom we have all come to love and respect here on Pprune.

I wish we had more of your kind all over the world.

Keep safe always....

VF,

Apologies my friend for my delayed response, I am currently in Sri Lanka, and the internet is not so reliable here.

Terrible news about your piece of paradise, and now I see that climbing may be over for the year. (From the Lankan Daily Mirror).

Chin up mate.

Condolences to all your friends and their families.

Some amazing pictures in this thread...showing great skill at work.

But I find this statement a bit rich for a guy that has his own PPRUNE thread dedicated to massaging his ego:

"Thanks Brother. Yaar gold bars, stripes & BS don't make You a better Pilot, that stuff is for EGO massage ONLY."

Not taking away from his skills..but maybe step off the soapbox a little.

I fly in a white shirt, silver bars and at times a tie...even polished shoes. I'm not stroking my ego...I'm following company guidelines. If the shirt and bars is the price I need to pay to fly close to home...then so be it.

G'day Arrrj

Hence the chocolate bars

Good evening Peter3127

No You wouldn't ~ it's practice, practice, practice & start with a lighter load You'd do fine keep it in ETL till Your over the arrival spot & in ground effect
------------------------------------------------------------
Namaste TIMTS

Thanks for Your words Broh it's not my thread, it was PPRuNe's idea, not mine at 5'10" I don't need a soap box, I was expressing an opinion, my opinion, having been a utility Pilot my entire flying career I feel it's not warranted in a dirty, dusty Fling Winged machine, but hey that's just MY opinion

Land back Happy Always

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti
