Not sure about mainland Malaysia, but they certainly have a couple of aircraft in Miri (WBGR) in Sarawak: an S-92 and an S-76.

The Flying Doctor service in Sarawak may be about to use some BO105s from Germany.
The number of S76s is increasing as there is currently a shortage of passenger capacity in the offshore market in Malaysia.
The yellow N2 is bound for Australia.

The C++ came from Canada is brand new, air frieght to KL , assembled there and ferry flight to Miri.

Shell in Miri is changing over to S92's and this C++ is helping out untill more 92's arrive (maybe in September)

And now for the truth

he1iaviator, the flying doc's are already using 105's and the 76's are being used because for some reason MHS's pumas like to swim!

The 92 in Miri is flying it's wheels off and looks like more to come, isn't that right Twisted?

I think you mean that the S92 is flying its doors off. I have not heard about the wheels falling off too; is that a recent event?

Devil Chinese whispers

Anybody want to join the game?

Last I heard there was this yellow CHC 365N++ being ferried from the factory in Canada without wheels and doors and it ditched of Sarawak. Luckily there was nobody on board.

Did anyone hear anything different

The CHC 92 in Miri has been performing really well. There has been a spate of cracked door hinges but that's now fixed. They are weak hinges for sure. The aircraft is flying a lot right now due to a shortage of Puma's at MHS. The C++ is all that was available untill the next 92 arrives. The battle between the 92 and the 225 in Miri isn't over yet. Stay tuned.

So, is there a 225 heading to Miri?
Think the 332 did a hell of a job there over the years, would love to see the S92 compete against the 225, head to head.
But no chance of that happening is there???? Wonder why!!!!!

Super 61, are you sure there is going to be a 2nd S92 in Miri? Even the existing S92 is on a 2 year contract which comes to an end in March 2008. What happens after that is anybody's guess.
