Peruvian B735 Cuzco 20th March 2016

Does anyone have any update on the Peruvian B735 that aborted take off at Cuzco, 20th March 2016.?
Some report a tyre burst, some reported a bird strike - either way the B735 went off the paved surface and the airport was closed for just over 24 hours.
Bird strike or burst tyre surely they should have been able to stay on paved surface? Or am I missing something?

Incident: Peruvian B735 at Cusco on Mar 20th 2016, runway excursion during rejected takeoff due to blown tyre
