Best cadet programmes
Hello
I think the best option today to become an airline pilot is to join an airline cadet programme.
Is there any source that lists which airlines have this kind of programmes open ?
I looked on CTC and CAE's websites, I've seen the following :
Wizzair, with a fast track for anyone with 100 hours as pic or another fast track for theoretical ATPL holders.
80 to 130 k€, employment for Wizzair at the end, however the salary seems very low compared to that 100k€ loan.
Indigo : same type of loan, employment in India
Preference might be given to indian nationals ?
I am currently PPL with 52 hours PIC, and 150 hours total, this is too much for Easyjet, as they ask for cadets with less than 85 hours of powered flight..

I found that info on CTC's page for EZY's cadet programme (I think it's an MPL, which would make it worse), at the time it was open.
I figure you can't really cheat. You cannot make them believe you've never flown before. If you lie and say you've less than 85 hours, they're gonna want to see your logbook, and good luck faking that.

Depends.... Its Open and worth applying to show interest. You'd become a first officer on a a320 flying around Europe. I know speaking with friends that have been through CTC. They want something to separate you from the rest, so if thats becoming a handling agent like me, so be it. When speaking to CTC they like the fact I understand the operational side of an airline and how things get done. One friend went as far as to become an air steward whilst waiting the apply.
As you know it will take many attempts but they want to single out those with determination and dedication to the job. industry experience to a capacity is preferable
