Aspen Evolution 1000
All, my group is considering installing an Aspen Evolution 1000 to replace an old Sandel EFIS. We've already a 2-box GNS430 and STEC55x installation, and we're interested in the increased reliability offered by the Aspen's solid-state tech, compared to the old remote gyro/fluxgate arrangement.
Does anyone have experience of a UK installation? If so, would you be prepared to tell me about installation costs, time, reliability and ease of use? And who fitted it for you?
Many thanks!

I have had two, an Evolution 1000 Pro on the Aztec and a 1500 C3 pair on a Navajo.
Brian Cook at Bournemouth Avionics, Lee on Solent, is the expert and I strongly recommend him. He is probably not the quickest, but he does a great job and really knows what he is doing. I met the Aspen European Manager at Friedrichshafen and he had nothing but good things to say about Brian.
PM if you would like to chat on the phone.
