UK specific licence question
Hi just wondered if one if you legal eagles can answer a question for me
Can a foreign EASA licence holder fly a UK registered annex 11 aircraft within the UK
I know the UK has filed a motion to allow a UK EASA licence holder to fly annex11 for the time being just wondered if it was possible for other EASA pilots
I also believe that you can with a ICAO licence

Yes, with some conditions.
Article 62 of the ANO, "Deeming a non-United Kingdom flight crew licence and any Part-FCL licence valid for non-EASA aircraft and deeming a non-United Kingdom radiotelephony licence valid for any aircraft."
The UK doesn't need to "file a motion" for UK licence holders, EASA has no say on Annexe II licensing.

Hi Steve.
Yes. As Propswinger says, The UK CAA has changed the ANO to state that any appropriate EASA, and ICAO Licence holder (regardless of the State of issue) can fly UK reg. Annex II aircraft.
