I don’t understand this. Airlines still operate to ctafs every day-the extra workload tiba creates for any pilot is a pain. If ctafs are so unsafe the airlines shouldn’t be flying to them, but they wouldn’t admit that, they’d just insist a convoluted “restricted” airspace be used where possible. 🤷‍♂️

EXACTLY !! - It becomes a CTAF every night after tower hours. TIBA as we have all gathered is not normal and bloody hard to work out the first time in. Just make it a dam CTAF. They can have a 3 hour break for all I care - Just don't restrict airspace !!

I can only think of a few airlines that would care, one starting with Q, possibly V but the rest wouldn't give a dam if it was CTAF, restricted or broadcasts on area. In fact anything that's not Airservices administered is better.
