I agree, being an authority within aviation they are very fast and helpful, at least once you are in the system.

Twice they have gone above and beyond helping me out getting a last minute license renewal within 24 hours despite me being thousands of miles away (USA and Sudan). Very flexible and friendly compared to other countries CAA's I have been involved with.

Now this is my experience, and I'm sure some one else on here has had the complete opposite experience. We are talking about aviation after all .

SEV, I thought a JAR license is a JAR license. If you already have one it should be recognized by the Swedish "luftis" (CAA). Someone correct me if I'm wrong..

Hi Sev,

FlyTCI is correct. But if you really are talking about the formal Transfer of State of License Issue, why don't you pick up the phone and call the Swedish CAA? After all, they are the only ones who can give you the 100% proof answer anyway.

Cheers,
