Why has the thread on Marine A been closed?

Maybe I've missed something but could a Mod please explain why this thread was closed?

It wasn't contentious, is not 'sub-judice' and is massively in the public domain...

There are presumably lots, like me, who just want to say 'BZ' to all involved..

Finally we have got the correct verdict, rather inconveniently for the top brass questions will now need to be answered as to how he became mentally 'impaired' and why it wasn't spotted or acted on. Would have been easier for it to be a clear murder then all the blame is on the individual not a mix of system/individual (wonder why this defence wasn't advised to him at the original trial? Who appointed his defence team and who advised them from a military pov?

What I would like to know is who was the person who shopped him a year or so after the event. No doubt some do gooder who had the luxury of never having to endure what Marine A and others had to.

I see Frederick Forsyth now says we need to go after the Army Generals who fed him to the lions and other prosecutors and anorak sandal wearing liberals. Good on him.

On another Forum I frequent (flyertalk) at least the Mods explain re-directs of Thread-loxk.

However, IAW 'Da Rools', I do not question Moderator actions.

IIRC, an allegation was made that one of the Marines with Sgt Blackman had child pornography on his computer. This claim was found to be false - but unfortunately for Sgt Blackman, it led to the discovery of the footage of his shooting the insurgent.

LOAC lectures just grew one PowerPoint slide longer to cover the PTSD caveat.

The thread was probably closed because they are still awaiting sentencing.
