Heads Up, Sky News, Sunday 13 Sep, 8:30PM. Might be worth a watch to get an insight into QRA.

Seriously though, just to ratchet down the tension, with all that area of white paint they could have added "**** off Biggles" for a laugh...

That's quite a special paint job. Is there an 'Andrei Tupolev' anniversary of some kind around now?

I've just watched it. Well, that was really insightful.
To everyone on the Typhoon force, thank you for everything you do to keep us safe. To their predecessors on the Tornado, Phantom and Lightning forces, and 'the few', again, thank you for everything you did to keep us safe and to protect our way of life.

They can keep so few of the things running, most of the ones that remain are named: Aleksandr Golovanov, Aleksandr Novikov; Mikhail Gromov crashed a while back. I can't remember any more. At one time, they wanted a fleet of 30. They have 15 or so now and maybe 5 or 6 can actually get WOG.

Edit: Fount of All Human Knowledge says 11 are "combat-ready". I don't know if that includes the 4 trainers. So either 11 or 16 can fly.

BBC lady enjoyed her B of B trip, although she may later regret that prose she uttered when subjected the the two winged prowess...those who know-know...
