TNI-AU C-130 Crash
An Indonesian AF (TNI_AU) C-130 crashed today, reportedly about midday local (0400 GMT), into a residential area of Medan, on Sumatra.
Reports are of approximately 30 people killed.
TNI-AU operates a mixture of aging C-130B/C-130H and L-100 aircraft, although Australia provided four newer C-130Hs last year.

Latest reporting is of some 140 people killed.
There were well over 100 all killed on the aircraft, so perhaps a -30 stretch, but not necessarily.
TNI-AU has lost at least 3 other Hercs before this one. Known losses are:
C-130B A-1302 written-off 11 May 2009
C-130H-30 A-1324 written-off 5 Oct 1991
C-130H-MP A-1322 written-off 20 Nov 1985
