I am hearing that TCAS is now flying a private A6 registered B777-300LR out of DWC. Can anyone confirm??

Actually, Abu Dhabi Amiri have a -300ER Private jet. ER/ULR, same same. Outta DWC, nope never seen one.

TCAS would be way past operating it, given he is 65+

Love these rumours HBB.

Forgive me if Im wrong it may be different under the GCAA. But in private aviation under many authorities there is no retirement age as long as you have a valid class 1.

Abu Dhabi "Amiri" (Now known by a different name) only allows it's pilots to fly to 60...UAE GCAA is 65 with restrictions. No way your TCAS would end up there anyway...

I inquired some more with a friend who is full time over at DWC. He doesn't know TCAS, but does know the airplane that TCAS may be on. If it's the same person, he's acting as an IP for the new crew for their first 100 hours. I asked him to get us a photo of the man in question.

Yes he has a twin, I met him once when he did some contract SFI work with the same company his brother worked for. I never saw them side by side but I could not tell the difference by looking. I must say his twin was a smashing good chap.

I wonder what makes identical twins become polar opposites. A good case study.
