Flying time for application

Hey guys,

just wondering if EK and the other airline down the road consider block hours as flying hours as both of them require 2,500 flying hours.

Thanks for your answer.

You mean "Chock to chock" as opposed to in-flight time?

Yes, that is the most common definition of logged time in civil aviation, and is what pretty much all airline are interested in.
