Productivity Pay At Emirates
Hey all...
Just wondering if someone could enlighten me on the productivity pay for FO's here at EK? I'm thinking my paycheck last month was a little on the light side and I'm trying to figure out if maybe the overtime was not paid accurately.
Any idea what the new pay rates are? I can't seem to find the memo we got a few months nor can i find it in OM-A (surprise, surprise).
Thanks.

May threshold was 92 hours. All above was paid at a rate of 525 DHS for Capt or 375 DHS for FO.
Especially if swapping was involved, check your "Variable Pay Report" on the portal. They tend to forget to update the system correctly (funny enough only if it helps them ).
Hope this helps!

The pay rates from Cramden are correct.
Why would you want to work into productivity for such a measly sum? The company is happy to pay you a little extra and have you work your butt off, than give us real overtime.
The productivity pay is pathetic.

Take out a payslip and find the "Total" line at the bottom left. Divide by 88. This is your hourly rate.
That math produces 1035 dirhams per hour for me. What psychosis or self-loathing would induce me to come back to work for 600 dirhams for the additional hours?

Drop didn't even add education allowance. And he received zero percent pay rise again. Productivity payment is a ripoff.

If you guys think that you monthly roster is going to be built on what the productivity threshold is, you might want to reconsider. Nothing will change and you will be thrown a few coins to add to your overall pay. You will be made to fly into productivity and the coins tossed your way is you going that extra mile. Now if the rosters are built to only the productivity level....that's a whole different story.

Using Dropp's math my hourly rate is 850 (not being at the top of the payscale). Most airlines would pay 1.5 that rate after reaching the productivity threshold. Hence a fair rate in this case would be apx 1300. The actual rate is 600.
Of course what we wish for and what we get are two different things. The rate has not been adjusted in five years. The only rational response is to avoid overtime as far as possible.

It's just math people.
Do you really think the tight @rsed muppets picked 88hrs at random?
What's the new rostering saying "share the pain and min days off will remain the same!".

Whats Productivity?
Maybe I'm missing something. I've been here for quite a while now and am working with 8-9 days off a month, half of them single days off. I spend about 20 hours more a month in the seat than the 777 or 380 guys and yet me and my ilk have never gotten a dime of productivity pay, and according to all your wonderful maths, we still wouldn't. Much, much, bigger changes than what you are suggesting is needed. Credit for vacation, ground school, sim and distance learning are only a few. But these things and 330 pilots are not productive, which probably explains everything. Sorry just answered my own question. Carry on.

the 330 fleet has been bad for many years, I strongly recommend to refuse a job on it, I know a few who did and got a 777 or 380 offered, I don't recommend to join EK but def. not the 330.

A much fairer way of calculating productivity would be to base in on duty hours, including grounschool, SEP, CRM, simulator etc.
At the moment the 330/340 pilots are being penalized in just about every way imaginable in terms of lifestyle and salary.
