I sent a CV in Sept. and got a phone call to ask if I was still interested in working for them a couple of weeks later. Since then Iv'e heard nothing, but on the forum someone mentioned they had had interveiws, typical.

Anyway, to the question. Does anyone have Netjets Europe recruitment E-mail address ? I've lost it.

I tried them about 1.5 yrs ago but i was number 1500 on the waitinglist (with 3300 hr and a jet rating). Is the waitinglist still that long?

EU, this was after they put an ad in flight international for captains and f/o's.

and since i didn't see any ads anymore, i was sondering whathappened to their 'waitinglist'

Rumour has it that a Netjets Citation made an emergency landing at Glasgow after sustaining undercarriage damage during an aborted landing at Aberdeen. Heavy crosswinds at Aberdeen last night. Portugese crew (ex-mil carrier landing????!) may be two more job vacancies.

Have sent an application in everytime they have had an ad out but never had ANY response!?!? :( :mad:

4000+ hrs with ratings in Citations (among others) and still not even a letter saying that they have received my application?? I have tried snail-mail and e-mail... :confused: :confused: :confused:

Oh well... Do I really want to work for a company that doesn't even seem to take the time to aknowledge peoples applications??

Hello all.

I´ve send them a cv online two weeks ago.
Today was a letter in my mailbox.
They wrote that they have no position available at the moment.
I have only the minimum requirements,
1500 h but most of them are Falcon hours.

HOW is it that there are people out there that have 1500 hours and can claim that most it is in a Falcon?!?! It's not that I dont believe them, as a matter of fact it's most likely jealousy. It's just that I have more time than that and don't have 1 SECOND of jet time!! My only desire, aside from flying, is to specifically fly a jet so how do people do it?? WHAT am I doing wrong?? No offense to anyone, I guess I'm just getting frustrated with being out of work. Any advice will be very welcomed.

in GA it is usually not what you know but who you know. Is it fair? I don´t know. That´s just how it works. In any case, networking is important in most jobs; not just aviation. Hm, I know that wasn´t really helpful. Just keep up your spirit.

I tell ya, it sure is hard to keep the spirit up in this stupid industry. Especially now a days. I hear ya, I know first hand that "who you now" offen goes further than "what you know", but realistically, does a person with the bare-bones 230 hours REALLY have what it takes to be part of a crew on a Falcon. What I mean is that, wouldn't the pilot with no more experience than single engine pistons be a bit behind the aircraft?? Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's my Canadian background where you need to have shovelled **** for God know how long before you get a crack at flying something other than a fork lift and a wash bucket?!?! I mean, even with my experience, the only glimmer of hope I have right now is a long shot on a single Cessna and an even longer shot at a multi turbine job. ........Anyhow, thanks for the words!!

P.S. Pilot Dude, where would I have had to be standing to be looked at for that right seat on the Falcon?

You would need four years as an type rated ground engineer with the same company, Which will give you a technical edge over the pilots, since this guy knows the tech part of the airplane better than al the pilots do, This beeing a verry good thing in any technical emergency.

Ya, good point, but then again, that's a bit of a differnet issue eh. Well good for the guy who did get the job. I guess he was the best candidate so I have nothing against that.

Hello Folks.

You could believe me i fly a Falcon 20.
In germany it is a normal thing, that a newbie fresh from school get a seat in a jet aircraft.
I did not know anyone in the company before i worked for them.
2 years ago i only was at the right time on the right place.
