Hi

I am planning on flight training in canada and was wondering whether it is possible to earn instructor ratings in Canada and work over there as a flight instructor

I am an Indian cititzen

This is in no way a recommendation as I know little about them, but I did hear the other day these guys offer something targetted at the Indian sub-continent.

I want to work in Canada as a flight instructor in order to gain some experience

Well me too, would like to know the answer to this. Pakistani, with Pakistani CPL/IR and FI rating along with FAA CPL/IR and CFI (SE, ME and Instrument).
I know I have to convert the license into Transport Canada, but any provision for getting work there.

As long as you can get all the paperwork regarding living and working in Canada, it shouldn't be a problem. There's a lot of instructing jobs here right now.
