Laptop VGA port to TV Scart?

Hi,

I'm wondering if I can connect my laptop, which only has a VGA output port (no S Video) to my TV via a scart input?!

I'm hoping to watch the BBC IPlayer on my TV.

Any advice? Thanks.

A Scart / VGA lead on its own wouldn't work - Digital Spy (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=579888) has some good information on why it won't work - at least, not without some serious effort, as green granite's link shows.

I bought one for my first laptop in 1991, so I guess they are still around ;)
