Apologies to everyone who has been trying to get onto the forums today. We have upgraded the bulletin board software and this will hopefully lead to some improvements in speed.

There may be a few teething problems over the next day or so and initially you may not notice the speed improvement as it usually takes about 24 hours for the internal cacheing system to build up.

Many thanks for your patience.

Many thanks once again Capt - what would we all do without you? Your efforts are very much appreciated.

And seasons greetings too :)

Think Danny & Co. deserve a lifetime of free ale for managing this little lot. Not that I'm offering to pay. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Thanks Danny & Co.

What started as a bit of fun has become almost an industry standard service - so it was nice to read the pub bit - brought us down to earth...

Big Grassy-Ass to DF, DP, Al H, and all at PPRunE, we all DO appreciate your efforts, even if it sometimes doesn't seem that way!

All the best for 2002!

Well, when I saw that all I could do was "CHAT", I did go to the boozer, thanks guys for an incredible site, I've written to the Lord Chancellor and asked if any public recognition for you all can be had, I think his reply will be after Chrimbo.

Speed now 10* better than a month ago, don't know what you are feeding the "Old Computer"; I must get some of it for myself.

Thanks Danny (and the others) for a great site. Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
