Does anyone know if the French have altered their banned airlines list since it was published? I can't find any update on www.dgac.fr
On 29 August 2005, France banned the following five airlines from entering its airspace:
* Air Koryo (North Korea)
* Air Saint Thomas (US)
* International Air Services (Liberia)_
* Lineas Aer de Mozambique (Mozambique); including its chartering partner Transairways_
* Phuket Airlines (Thailand)_
The Belgian blacklist, published on the same day, bans nine airlines:_
* Africa Lines (Republic of Central Africa)_
* Air Memphis (Egypt)_
* Air Van Airlines (Armenia)_
* Central Air Express (Democratic Republic of Congo)
* I.C.T.T.P.W. (Libya)_
* International Air Tours Limited (Nigeria)_
* Johnsons Air Limited (Ghana)_
* Silverback Cargo Freighters (Rwanda)_
* South Airlines (Ukraine)_
Due to different criteria, no airline appears on both lists, and no airline involved in recent crashes is on them either.
