India has a new rule for APIS ( Advanced Passenger Information System) to be sent by operators to all flights landing @ Indian airports , they amended their forienger order 1948 to read:
"If APIS requirement is not complied by the airlines from 01.10.05, as per the provisions of Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, 1946, the pilot of the aircraft is liable for punishment with an imprisonment for a period upto 5 years and shall also be liable to fine.If APIS requirement is not complied by the airlines from 01.10.05, as per the "
according to my knowledge IFALPA already in contact with indian officials to get rid of this paragraph which makes no sense to anybody , otherwise actions by all pilots unions worldwide will take an action against it , the links below explains more
if pilots don't stand up for that worldwide , so we might meet up over a curry meal behind bars somewhere in Delhi guys.
