Help sourcing an Aeroplane Passenger Seat in Scotland

Hello All.

My name is David Sneddon and I am the Stage Manager of the Tron Theatre in Glasgow. We are currently working towards a play called "Plume" starring Sylvester McCoy (Please see our website www.tron.co.uk) which opens on the 1st of March and runs until the 17th of March and I have been asked to try and source an ailrine passenger seat as a prop.

Ideally we would like a dated model or damaged stock that could be donated to us, but as it seems to be proving rather tricky to get, I would settle for something that we could borrow. As we are based in Glasgow and are a registered charity, I would hoping that someone with connections to Glasgow, Prestwick or Edinburgh Airport might be able to help, so that we can afford to uplift it.

In return, I would be more than happy to offer a couple of free tickets to the show, if anyone was interested. I could also offer an airline or engineering firm able to help, a mention of thanks in the programme.

Is anyone able to assist?

I look forward to hearing from you,

Yours sincerely,

David Sneddon
(Stage Manager)

You can get some vc10 ones here for 175 odd..

VC10 Aircraft Seats Bank Of Three From Aircraft XV105 | eBay

Other suggestion is contact a company that parts them out such as

Air Salvage International - Specialised company providing professional aircraft salvage, recovery and disposal services
