O-300d

Can anyone tell me whether damage is likely to occur if an O-300d is run at high RPM with the mags/timing incorrectly set. ie, left mag selected from both, 300 rpm drop, right mag selected from both, 50 rpm increase.
(No fault with mags).

Anything is possible.

With a continental with some corrosion, you may end up blowing off a "jug-head", pun INTENDED!

Did you?
