I am Eve Cogan and I created the petition to rename the Canberra Airport after David Warren.
I would like to thank all the people who have supported me. I have sent a letter to the owners are hoping for good news soon.
To the comment from Mr Clear_Left, yes David was born in the Northern Territory, but his life took him around Australia. I think the Canberra Airport is a better choice because it is the capital of Australia and it is important that politicians are reminded Australia is a country of great innovation and inventions.
Also thank you to Mr Paul who told me to find this page on a comment on my blog
