AVG Free Edition "no new updates available"

Anyone else got this problem ? My XP SP3 tells me no new updates available on AVG - my WIN7 next to it is updating regularly on AVG.

Solution was uninstall AVG, reinstall latest version (which looks mucho differente). But it pulled up new def. folder and did a scan, as it should.

surprising - generally - Avast is the quicker program. It certainly has a better virus database

whats the spec of the WinXP machine - may have been a low RAM issue???

No, it isn't (an issue).

I like AVAST on my Android tablet, though (which you recommended).

And AVG and MalWare on the XP-PC, and AVG and MalWare on the 7-Lappy.
