Never let the truth get in the way of a good story:
Journalists eh?!
Six people involved in private jet crash
Nearly one hundred fire fighters have been involved in the aftermath of a plane crash in south London.
The private jet crashed on the runway at Biggin Hill Airport near Bromley at 8.30pm. The six people on board all escaped with their lives and were treated for minor injuries at the crash site.
Eight London Fire Brigade crews are on site this evening dealing with a fuel spill on the runway.

Clearly - the Old Boy upstairs is trying to take some of his Ministers early at the moment! The Grand Bahama Lear crash was also owned by a Christian Evangelist!!
Kelly Hopper - still wouldn't be allowed at Farnborough.
STN Ramp Rat - nobody was killed and there were no MPs or Royals claiming expenses for using it so the media aren't interested.

The plane would appear to be connected with the well known tele-evangelist, Creflo Dollar.

I'm unsure what the EGKB vis was last night at 2030 but from the position of the G3 off the runway( seen from FL90 today) and assuming it was a runway 03 departure I suspect this may have occurred.
Taxied from the Exec jet base down r/w 29 Westwards, lined up not on the 03 centreline but commenced it's take-off run lined up on the right hand painted white runway edge lines and then ran onto the very waterlogged grass .....yawing rapidly to the right and collapsing the nose gear.
Something similar occurred many years ago to an Air Anglia F27 at ABZ which had the QRA apron adjacent to the runway threshold.

Ditto 23 at Teesside with a BMA Viscount, so I understand.

Whilst the information on what happened here is not in the public domain, the scenario that you mentioned has happened many times and when line training I have always taught about this possible mistake when operating from old military airfields. It is something I wish more line training captains knew about and taught so we can make aviation a safer place.

Spotted this revelation in the news article.
Should I forward this to the AAIB as I'm sure they won't know it got airborne?

Recently on an overseas trip to a global conference, one of the engines failed.By the grace of God, the expert pilot, who's flown with Creflo for almost 20 years, landed the plane safely without injury or harm to any passengers.
