RAF Fylingdales National Trust First Day Cover

Have just come across a first day cover I'd forgotten I had. It's dated 24 June 1981 and is signed by the then Stn Cdr, Gp Capt M M Dalston. (Ex Beverleys ISTR) . The cover was flown from Finningley in Dominie XS 713 over NT properties in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The crew is given as: Captain Flt Lt D H Bendall, Co-pilot Master Air Electronics Operator N J Walsh, Screen Nav Flt Lt A F Corbett and Nav Plt Off W P Oldham.
Wonder if anyone has any background on the Co-pilot being a MAEO?

I flew in a Dominie out of Stradishall on 31 Jul 1967 with Sqdn Ldr Cozens as pilot and a 'Master' aircrew as co. I don't think he was a Master Pilot as he couldn't operate the radio properly when asked by the pilot to reply to a radio call.
