Spanish ATC Industrial Action

As a SLF member of PPR, I wonder if I could get some advice from the professionals on this forum.
The Spanish ATC union have announced strike action on Saturday September 26th and Saturday October 3rd. Unfortunately Mrs Wowzz and I are scheduled to fly out to PMI from STN on EZY at 10:05 on the 3rd. Assuming the strike goes ahead, is it possible to give an indication at this stage as to what sort of delay we might experience, or indeed if the flight will take place at all?
I am working on a Plan B, which involves purchasing tickets now for the Sunday flight, so as to make sure we actually get to Mallorca without too much delay, but obviously if the Saturday flight does go ahead, the cost of the Sunday tickets will be wasted.
Any help would be most welcome.

I am afraid that, at this stage, it is next to impossible to even hazard a guess as to what the effects may be. There are so many variables involved, including who strikes & where, & how many go on strike. All that you can say is that if it is well supported-& it may very well not be- there will be a lot of disruption, with delays, re-routes & cancellations. Sorry I can't give you any reassurance.

Hello. Let me clear things out: nearly 100% of the ATCOs called for strike will be willing to support it, as it was in june and july. However, minimum service could be close to 100% of the ATCOs in operational duties as well, so itīs still a mystery what will happen. Letīs wait for the minimum service imposed by the Government, but i would say that you will be able to take that flight after all, wowzz

Thanks for the input - I think I'll put Plan B on hold.

Has anyone any further news on Saturday's (3rd Oct.) proposed action and it's likely effects?

Itīs going to be more or less like last saturday. The company is using all kinds of tricks to make almost 100% of ATCOs in operational duties to work, but being a 12-hour action it could generate a chain-effect reaction and we could have some delays, most of them in the busiest units.
