Random question - ATC jobs in Scandinavia

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are going to be any vacancies for experienced air traffic controllers (twr / app / enroute) in either Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia or Finland.

I have been googling around for a few months but never find any job openings for these countries.

Best regards,

SM

If you have at least ICAO level 4 in swedish there might be some TWR/APP jobs available...

Even when LFV (at least so I've been told) overtrained and are now cutting students loose after training?

Are language exams just written tests? or is it a combination of writing, speaking etc?

I imagine Swedish is required in an airport to communicate with ground staff or airport coordination etc.. is it also needed to work in the ACC?

When I had my ICAO english level tested it was only verbal testing, no writing or reading. I would believe it's the same for a test in any other language as long as you are only getting an ICAO level.

I am not sure if you need it in an ACC but I would expect all documentation to be in local language for a start and it's probably not unlikely to have coordination in local language as well.

Most of the LFV students have been offered work elsewhere so they won't be on the market for long.

ACR (ACR | Aviation Capacity Resources AB) is looking for controllers.

Requirements:
- Air traffic controller ratings and rating endorsements shall comply to the content in articles 10 and 11 for ADI/TWR/RAD, APS/RAD, APP
- Language at least ICAO level 4 in English and Swedish.
- The training has to be completed in a certified training organization within EU.
