A few weeks ago I was transitting to Middle Wallop and overflew what looked like a very picturesque farm strip in the vicinity of Henley-on-Thames / north of Reading. With no time to waste to have a closer look I did not pay detailed attention to its location, but thinking about it a few weeks later, would any ppruner happen to know of any farm strips in that area that could be the one I over flew? I recall that it was quite close to the Thames (ie within a mile or two. Pretty scant directions to go on. Sorry.

Southern X,

Nice isn't it? I've seen it a few times, and I think it's been there about 15 years. No idea who owns it though

you will have to be pretty ninja for the upper bolney strip... one way in, the other out. under 300m with a signif curve. hedge on take off and landing end.
the owner is one of the origional aerobatics international guys - now nails warbird pilot.

Thanks Martin. I will have a meander and see if any of the ones you have mentioned match the one I saw.
