I've just trawled through the AIP and CAP 393 looking for the supplement / appendix which gives all the aircraft 4 letter ICAO ATC reporting types but cannot for the life of me find it (several months ago, I'm convinced that I looked something up in this). None of the search engines seem to help - is there any kind-hearted ATC type who could tell me which publication I should be looking in, please?? Pretty please with cream on top?? :) Alright, you can have a cherry as well!! ;)

Try this

Hope it helps (Wouldn't bank on its 'officialness' though)

Many thanks for that, both of you!!

So there is no reporting type for a Flugler Scooter, after all!!

Nothing for it, Kingy - you're grounded!!! ;) ;)

Hi CB.
Sat on Delivery today and in front of me were the ICAO docs for location indicators and aircraft types and, well, I remembered this thread. If you really want to know, and I think you might mean the Flagor Airscooter, then the ICAO code is SCTR. Was I bored? well, yes.

Spiney.

damn! I've misspelt it! Should read Flaglor Airscooter.

D'oh.

Top Job! You've got a problem with going to Rio though Kingy. Haven't you got to arrive wearing your top hat and tails?
