Not meaning to start any rumours but a couple of basic facts that are known - to me at present...

About 1530hrs a bi-plane of some description, (I didn't actually see it myself depsite being there!), made a forced landing just NE of Redhill at Nutfield following the apparent loss of the propeller.

Crew on scene stated only apparent damage was lack of a propeller and no injury to anyone on board.

No details as to exact type, departure or destination field or registration.

Well done to the pilot in what was not the best weather nor enviroment for a FL! :ok:

"AB, there's one of them flying things down. Y'know the type, hasn't got flingy bits at the top. Gotta coupla planky bits instead. Wassit called?"

;) xxx

Glad you weren't needed there anyway. Well done the pilot involved.

Well done to the pilot - both crew escaped without injury, not even cuts or bruises.
