View Full Version : Any large twins for hire in Yorkshire?
Just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that rents out some large twinengine aircraft? Such as Seneca, Navajo, Aztech etc.
Would be much appreciated :)
P.S - Do ATC start to charge if your MAXTow is over 2t?

Sorry to break your heart but they are all classed as light twins!
I take it you are referring to Euro Nav charges.
1.They are for aircraft over 2 tonnes MTOW.
2. Flying on an IFR flightplan (This includes all night flights)

I thought that Sherburn would have been your best bet until looking at your location:rolleyes: , maybe try Sandtoft for a TAXI ..........G-TAXI that is, a nice red/white Aztec that always seems to be parked up there just waiting to be flown:D

I know a couple of nice girls in Bradford, but you might have to be a little more diplomatic on the hiring front;)

There is an Aztec, a Twin Comanche and a Partenavia based at Sherburn and a large Cessna twin awaiting hangarage.
I suggest asking at Sherburn if the the owners are interested in hiring out their aeroplanes.
Thanks snchater for the inside info! I'll ask Mike about it ;)

Sherburn now has a twin owned by the club. I think it's operational and available for hire but can't be 100% sure.
I really should take more notice when I am there :O
