Has anyone seen A Plane is Born of Discovery wings channel. It is a brilliant show about a man named Mark who builds his own kit plane. The build ing is really cool, but i liked the training the most. I live in the U.S. and am training for my ppl, and I liked watching what few things were done different in the U.K. than in the U.S. If you haven't seen it i suggest you watch it. He has another show now too called a Chopper is born, it's pretty good, but theres no training segment so it's not the same. Well I figured if you lot are as crazy about flying as i am, then you'd enjoy this show.

Kevin,

I don't know about other countries, but 'A Plane Is Born' seems to have been on at least one satellite channel every month for the last couple of years in the UK.

Mark Evans is a vet who is also on TV here doing various things with animals, as well as having a series building a kit car and another one restoring an E-type Jaguar.

There's a somewhat out-of-date website for A Plane Is Born at www.aplaneisborn.com (http://www.aplaneisborn.com/)

Have a search about in the Rotorheads forum from a few months ago for discussions on the Chopper series.
